🔹 Paying Ethereum Gas Without ETH
On August 27, Ethereum developers advanced EIP-8141 (Frame Transactions) to “planned for inclusion” in the upcoming Hegotá upgrade, expected in 2027.
This proposal could let apps—or third parties—cover gas fees on your behalf. Imagine paying transaction costs in stablecoins while a service handles the ETH settlement in the background. It also enables bundling multiple actions: if a token swap fails, approvals are revoked automatically, reducing risk.
Users could define custom authorization rules and update their control keys without migrating funds to a new address—improving both security and convenience.
A step toward a smoother, more flexible Ethereum experience.
