ACCOUNTANT – TRAVEL & TOURISM
Are you a qualified Accountant with a strong accounting foundation and a willingness to learn and grow within the Travel & Tourism industry?
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join a travel company based in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily accounting and financial transactions.
* Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
* Monitor income, expenses, invoices, and payments.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
* Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax requirements.
* Work closely with other teams to support smooth financial operations.
* Learn and adapt to accounting processes and practices specific to the travel industry.
Requirements
* B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (ICAN/ACCA) or part qualification is an advantage.
* 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
* Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Prior experience in the travel industry is not mandatory.
* Must be willing and eager to learn the dynamics of the travel and tourism industry.
* Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate to Lagos.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with a solid accounting foundation, a learning mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly. Experience in the travel industry is an added advantage but not a requirement.
