Help Wanted
An event of this magnitude, of course, needs helpers. Without you, Winter’s Embrace would not happen.
We already have a team of at least 7 for Build Up/Down, 6 for Security, roughly 6 Stage Hands, and 3 at our register. So we have a good start, but we still need more—especially in Security and Stage. Our wish is that no one has to work a relaxed job for more than 3 hours. We want everyone to be able to enjoy this spectacle.
As early staff applicants, you also get early access to the register for Winter’s Embrace
So what is your task in a job?
Security
Stand in front of key checkpoints (entrance, suit lounge, etc.) and keep an eye on the rules being followed. It is not your duty to be physical in ANY way. Anything even remotely going in that direction must be reported to. @Gluecksbaerchi01
You will get in contact with lots of furs and have the ability to enjoy the community, even while working.
Build Up and/or Down
You will help with tasks before and after the dance: building the fursuit lounge, helping with logistics, and making sure everything is in the right place. We will speak with some of you if you want to do additional work during the event, but this is optional.
Register
You will sit at the front at the beginning, check the guest list, and hand out the goodies.
Stage Hands
You help us with setting up the stage itself and the more technical side of things. Depending of your knowledge you help us setting up lights and sounds and maybe work at the FOH or Light console.
General information
We plan your shifts together with you and take your wishes into account. We also plan to give something back in return—be it a special goodie or even a staff T‑shirt (depending on the sponsoring amount).
It is sadly not financially possible to let every normal helper in for free—not even with a discount—as we first need a baseline of actual income to make the money you entrusted us with worthwhile.
We are deeply thankful for everyone who is willing to help, and that’s the least we plan to implement.
