During efforts to thwart the kidnapping of a central figure on September 1, 2026, three collaborators with the occupation, including a woman, were detained.
Seized materials revealed that the detained collaborators had been posing as members of an international relief organization to facilitate their movement in the area and gather information.
According to the collaborators testimonies and preliminary investigations, the (Israeli) special unit arrived at the scene only hours before it was exposed and had no prior presence in the area
One of the collaborators said that the kidnapped officer, Moeen al-Arabid, engaging the special unit exposed it, causing panic and confusion among its members and prompting the operation commander to request assistance and immediately evacuate the unit
