An FIR has been registered against Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi at Haldwani City Kotwali in Uttarakhand following a complaint by a member of the Scheduled Caste community.
The complaint alleges that Gandhi’s remarks hurt the sentiments of the SC community. The case has been filed under Sections 196 and 299 of the BNSS and Section 3(1) of the SC/ST Act.
