The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has approved a fuel price increase for the May–June 2026 review cycle. Super Petrol has been raised from Ksh 16.65 to Ksh 214.25 per litre, and Diesel from Ksh 46.29 to Ksh 242.92 per litre. Kerosene remains unchanged at Ksh 152.78. The new prices take effect from May 15, 2026, for a 30-day period. EPRA stated that the adjustment reflects changes in global landed costs for imported petroleum products. The average landing cost for Super Petrol increased from USD 823.27 to USD 906.23 per cubic metre, and for Diesel from USD 1,073.82 to USD 1,291.98 per cubic metre between March and April. These changes were driven by shifts in international benchmark prices.
