Two 13-year-old boys were turned in by their own parents a week after surveillance footage captured them attacking a 48-year-old chef at a San Bernardino apartment complex in California.
The apparently random August 14 assault, reportedly filmed for social media content, left the man with a concussion.
Despite the injuries, the chef — who helps feed homeless people and supports his 12-year-old daughter — returned to work after taking just one day off.
Both boys now face felony robbery and battery charges and are being held in juvenile hall.
Mom and dad apparently decided the internet clout wasn’t worth covering for them.
