The other day a White liberal Boomer at my work was ranting about the Trump admin cutting funding at post secondary schools for minorities. Many of minorities he thinks should get funding are like the interviewee here. To be fair, the Boomer has probably only ever lived in supermajority White cities or in gated facilities when he was stationed in the Middle East while with the military (I’ve only ever heard him talk about the amazing food he got there when the military personnel ventured into low risk areas to get a bite to eat of something other than military grub.
