The #FBI is now reporting that #NewOrleans terror suspect Shamsud Din Jabbar acted alone in his #ISIS-inspired truck ramming attack against Bourbon street, which left 15 dead and wounded dozens of others. In videos posted online by Jabbar before the attack, he explained how he planned on killing his family following a divorce from his wife, but then decided to “join” ISIS before the summer and carry out an attack against the public in a “war against believers and nonbelievers.” Likewise, FBI Deputy Assistant Director Christopher Raia reported that Jabbar acted alone in planting explosive devices in the French Quarter upon review of security camera footage. Initially, the FBI believed that potentially four other people were involved, however, they have determined to be uninvolved pedestrians. Additionally, the FBI stated that there is “no definitive link” between this attack and the detonation of a Cybertruck outside of the #Trump hotel in #LasVegas."
