The SBU (Security Service of Ukraine), in cooperation with the HUR (Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine), has prevented a terrorist attack that the FSB of the Russian Federation was planning against one of the leaders of the Russian opposition political movement, who had arrived in Ukraine to celebrate the Day of Independence of our country.
During a search at one of the addresses, a group of individuals launched an armed attack on the SBU's investigative team. They attempted to obstruct the investigative actions and blocked the passage of law enforcement officers with vehicles.
A special unit of the SBU's Center for Special Operations "Alpha" was deployed to stop the attack and ensure the safety of those involved in the proceedings. During the suppression of the armed resistance, law enforcement officers used firearms.

Apparently they were both trying to fold an assassination attempt but ended up in a stand-off with each other.
