#Meta Up to 600 million passwords unencrypted...Meta stored passwords for years without
encryption — just in 
plain text on the company's servers. The Irish Data Protection Commission found out, and fined the company $102 million.The vulnerability had been around since 2012, and up to 20,000 employees may have had access to passwords for millions of accounts.
The company, of course, claims that the data did not fall into the hands of third parties.
