Apple’s foldable iPhone Ultra may have already been tested by people outside Apple, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Early impressions reportedly include:
• Positive feedback on the hinge and its durability
• Large inner display with an iPad-like app layout
• Thicker when folded, but still pocketable
• No dedicated telephoto camera
• Touch ID instead of Face ID
The lack of a telephoto camera could be a notable compromise, especially with the phone reportedly starting at around $2,000.
Apple is expected to unveil the foldable iPhone next month, though the final name and specifications are still unconfirmed.
