UPDATE — Saudi Arabia's Jazan refinery hit again by Houthi strikes, out of service for weeks
The Financial Times reports the refinery, operated by Saudi Aramco, was targeted on Monday, the latest in a series of Houthi attacks that have kept the 400,000-barrel-per-day facility offline.
The Houthis said dozens of ballistic missiles and drones struck the site on September 6, describing it as a response to Saudi drone incursions over Yemen.
The refinery has not operated at full capacity since late July, when previous attacks damaged its tank farm and power complex.
Diesel shipments from the site fell to zero in August.
Saudi Arabia has rerouted crude exports via the Red Sea and the East-West pipeline, but replacing refining capacity is harder than diverting barrels.
