— Maariv: Suspected Attempt to Plant Explosive Device on the Border with Syria
Three suspects approached the Syrian side of the fence in the Refid region, south of the Golan Heights, late last night, observed digging or placing something on the ground. A unit from the 595 Reconnaissance Battalion pursued them, with the Israeli military estimating they were likely attempting to plant an explosive device. A drone was dispatched, and the suspects fled eastward. It is estimated that one was injured, and the military is investigating if he was killed. Forces from the "Bashan" division conducted searches and cordoned off the area to determine if an explosive device was planted and to identify entry and escape routes.
