โ Gaza Civil Defense recovers 55 bodies from rubble of al-Malka family building in Zaytoun
The building was sheltering around 60 people who had fled Israeli bombardment nearly two years ago. Rescue teams are searching for a third day for more than 60 other bodies of the al-Malka family, most of whom have been recovered and will be buried together in a single funeral early next week. Teams face major challenges due to a lack of heavy equipment and machinery. Civil Defense is urging international humanitarian organizations to provide modern bulldozers, excavators, and trucks to help recover more bodies trapped under destroyed buildings.@TPOnow
