On August 16th, the order was given and the green light was received to operate in the tunnels of the Upper Taher ridge.

On the night of August 17th, at 3:00 AM, the order was given to seize the area, and additional reserve and regular forces entered activity in Lebanon.

Injuries to the soldiers in the area were attributed to hostile activity by Hezbollah, using explosive drones.

The injured forces were evacuated to Rambam Hospital. IDF did not comment.
