🚨 FSB put Durov on the international wanted list

Russia’s FSB said that Pavel Durov has been charged with aiding terrorist activity. The case is linked to the Telegram dating bot “Daivinchik”, which, according to the agency, was used by Ukrainian intelligence services to recruit young Russians.

🔝 What changed

⚫️ Durov was charged under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code
⚫️ The FSB declared him internationally wanted
⚫️ The agency links the case to the “Daivinchik/Leo” dating bot
⚫️ According to the FSB, young Russians were pushed through the bot into arson attacks, assaults and other crimes
⚫️ Since July 2025, the agency says 46 people aged 12 to 22 have been detained
⚫️ In December, “Daivinchik” was added to Russia’s banned-sites registry
⚫️ According to the FSB, Telegram still did not remove the bot

🔝 Why it matters

⚫️ Pressure on Telegram in Russia has moved from fines and blocking threats to a criminal charge against Durov
⚫️ Formally this is not about TON, but it hits the main infrastructure around the ecosystem
⚫️ For Telegram, this is a new level of conflict with Russian authorities
⚫️ For TON, any major legal risk around Durov immediately becomes a market factor
⚫️ The core defense line is obvious: a platform is not the same as user activity, but the FSB is clearly trying to challenge exactly that

Telegram is once again in a story where moderation turns into a criminal case. Daivinchik started as a dating bot and somehow ended up as an argument for putting Durov on an international wanted list.
