Fix High SSD Usage and Freezes When Downloading a Game
This fix addresses:
* Edit or create Engine.ini:
1. Close the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Press Windows + R and type
%localappdata%, then press Enter.3. Navigate to
EpicGamesLauncher\Saved\Config\Windows.4. Open the
Engine.ini file with Notepad.5. Add the following lines to the end of the file:
[HTTP]
HttpTimeout=10
HttpConnectionTimeout=10
HttpReceiveTimeout=10
HttpSendTimeout=10
[Portal.BuildPatch]
ChunkDownloads=3
ChunkRetries=20
RetryTime=0.5
After this, use the SSDFresh Tool program.
