How do I find similar images with Google?
There are three main ways to use reverse image search on Google. Depending on your device, choose one of these methods:
1. In Chrome (desktop and mobile)
The easiest way:
· Right-click on the image (or on mobile, press and hold on the image).
· Select the “Search image with Google Lens” option.
· Google will show you similar results.
2. In desktop browser (classic mode)
If you don’t want the Lens option:
· Go to images.google.com.
· Click the camera icon (🔍) in the search bar.
· Paste the image URL or upload the image from your computer.
3. In the Google mobile app (Android and iPhone)
· Open the Google app and tap the camera icon (Lens) next to the search bar.
· Select a photo from your gallery or take a new one with your camera to see the results.
Tip: If you want to use an image from within the site (without downloading it), long-press on the image in Chrome mobile and tap "Search image with Google Lens"; no need to download and re-upload.
