For everything there is a season—a time to mourn, a time to be still… — 7 Seals of the End — TG.ME

For everything there is a season—a time to mourn, a time to be still, a time to listen, a time to go deeper into God’s presence, and a time to immerse yourself in his word. There are seasons when God calls us away from the noise so he can speak to the deepest places and bring healing to our soul and innermost being—our mind, will, and emotions.

This past season left me battered, bruised, weary, and torn. There were wounds, disappointments, questions of why, and things I never thought I would endure. So I spent months with Jesus. Allowing him to search me, refine me, purge what doesn’t belong, and heal what has been broken.

A person will come out of that place different. You are no longer the person that went in the cave. What the enemy thought would break you did not destroy you. It developed you. It deepened your faith. It taught you how to trust God in the dark and how to cling to him when you had nothing else to hold on to. It was this season God spoke to the deepest places of my soul.

When you have encountered the one who created you, you begin to see things different. Old ways of thinking began to fall away. Old patterns no longer have the same power. While tasting something deeper, you choose to never go back to Egypt. Because what is prepared for you is far greater than what you left behind.

God is doing a new thing this season. He is sharpening his people. He is giving fresh air to those that have been through the fire. God is even using places that wounded you to help you ascend to a higher place. He is making you the head and not the tail. You will be above and not beneath.

There is a deep call to the watchman. The call to take your post, guard the gates, and stand on the walls. Stay awake. Stay discerning. Do not abandon your assignment cause the season has been difficult. The cave was not your grave. It was your training ground. The wilderness was not your destination. You will not come out looking like what you went through. You will come out looking like what God was building in you.

This is a new season. A season of awakening. A season of sharpening. A season of restoration. A season you will see the enemy repay you for everything he stole.

THIS IS YOUR SEASON OF HARVEST! 🌾🌾🌾🌾
