📚 Grammar: Present Perfect
A useful grammar structure that appears several times is the present perfect:
have/has + past participle
We often use it for something that has happened recently or has a result/connection to the present.
The script uses it several times:
“I’ve been trying to eat better lately.”
Here, have been trying is actually the present perfect continuous:
have + been + verb-ing
It describes an activity that started in the past and has continued recently.
Another example:
“You may have given me diabetes.”
