White Magic:
- Spiritually Altruistic
- Alignment with God
- Seeks to uplift and enlighten spiritual consciousness
- Intention derives from selflessness, healing, servitude, gratitude
- Ethical and in service to higher ideals
- Healing, defensive, blessing rituals/rites/spells
Black Magic:
- Spiritually selfish and egotistical
- Opposed to natural and spiritual laws (God)
- Seeks to manipulate the subtle world via brute force
- Intention derives from power, control, revenge, selfishness
- Unethical and in service to lower forces
- Curse, Hex, exploitation rituals/rites/spells
Yellow Magic:
- Intellectual and ambitious
- Not necessarily harmful; focus on knowledge and experimentation
- Intention derives from curiosity, personal advancement, or ego without regard for higher principles
- Ego-driven, exploratory but not explicitly unethical
- Knowledge acquisition and experimental rituals/rites/spells - absent of spiritual understanding
Gray Magic:
- Situational and ethically ambiguous
- A mixture of light and dark intentions/practices
- Can involve noble motives but employ unethical means, or vice versa
- Example: a harmful ritual is performed against a man who threatens a family member
