🎉🩺 White Coat Ceremony – C1 Students 🩺🎉
Students, administration, teachers, and special guests gathered at the new campus library on May 16 to celebrate the White Coat Ceremony of the C1 students. 📚✨ The soft trail of incense from the coffee ceremony guided us toward the library, wrapping the atmosphere in warmth and tradition before the ceremony had even begun ☕️🌿.
Hosts Enat Mesfin and Sahil Aktar opened the event with welcoming remarks, setting the tone for the memorable occasion that followed. 🎤
Soon after, Fetuma Feyera, Dr. Abebay, and Prof. Daniel shared fatherly and heartwarming advice with the students as they prepared to step into a new chapter. ❤️ It would be a discredit not to mention Prof. Daniel’s witty remark, “ጨጉዋራዬን ልጣቹታል,” joking that the students had exhausted him 😂, a comment that filled the room with laughter while also reminding everyone how grateful he was to have them.
Shortly thereafter, seniors Mahlet Amaha and Anud Shakur delivered an insightful and invaluable discourse on what C1 life may look like, offering both guidance and reassurance to the incoming students. 🌟 Afterwards, the representative, Absera Berhanu, gave a thoughtful and encouraging speech, which was then followed by the final remarks from EMSA President Dr. Saron Melke. 👏
Lastly, heartfelt thanks go to all those who attended and helped make the ceremony possible: Dr. Behiwot, Dr. Nahom, Ato Dagne, Ms Mahlet, Aphrodite, Absera, Enat, Lealem, Raey, Tsion, Dr. Saron, and everyone who contributed behind the scenes to create such a memorable event. 🤍
