🇵🇸 The Palestinian Authority has announced legislative elections, with Hamas unexpectedly declaring that it will take part as part of a broader national coalition.
Palestinian sources say the proposed coalition brings together Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Fatah’s Democratic Reform Movement, Nasser al-Qudwa, and the Al-Nasser Brigades.
The Popular Front and other factions are expected to decide next week whether to join. The proposal also includes several independent figures and businessmen described as patriotic.
