The World of Men vs Machine
In the world of men, sales is king.
The ability to persuade another man with your words,
Is one of, if not THE, most important skills a man can learn.
The most powerful force on earth is MEN.
And convincing MEN to move one way or another is valuable.
In the world of robots,
The same principle applies.
If you cannot convince A.I. to say what you want it to say
Or do what you want to do.
It won't matter very much NOW.
But in the next 10-30 years?
You will realize, you aren't talking to humans anymore.
You won't even read these emails with your own eyes.
You'll have a language model scan your inbox and tell you what you deem important.
My job?
It won't be to speak to you.
It will be to speak to the robot, and convince it to tell you what I want said.
