WhatsApp is about to get a lot more annoying in India. The government is refusing to budge on new SIM-binding rules, meaning if your phone doesn't have the registered SIM active, the app stops working.
WhatsApp Web will force a logout every six hours.
The deadline for these changes is tomorrow, February 28.
It's a "national security" move to fight fraud and track accounts.
