Bill Gates is finally answering for his Epstein ties.
At a foundation town hall Gates "took responsibility" for meeting with the convicted sex offender, admitting he deeply regrets every minute. While he hasn't been accused of any crimes, those newly released Justice Department files—full of emails and photos have made it impossible for him to just move on. He even skipped a major AI summit in India last week just to avoid being a distraction.
For this to be a success, we need more than just "I'm sorry" tours. The real conscience here is transparency; if these meetings were truly about philanthropy, the foundation needs to show exactly what was discussed and ensure no resources ever crossed paths with Epstein’s world. Anything else is just damage control for a tarnished legacy.
Gates is finding out that even billions in charity can't erase the shadow of a bad association.
