ICE is conducting historic levels of enforcement in California this year. ICE arrests are up 70% in the San Francisco Bay Area alone, with the highest total of arrests on record in July.
Immigration arrests in the streets, not in jails, have gone up at least 10x and deportations are up 5x. This is being done with only a small number of agents, for now, in a state with zero cooperation.
