NVIDIA has released a model that restores blurry and incomplete 3D scans, even if the necessary viewpoints were never captured.
In essence, this is an automated "repair" of a 3D scene.
ArtiFixer uses video diffusion to generate missing camera viewpoints, and then reconstructs the scene based on the resulting frames.
* It works up to 70 times faster.
* Restoration takes only 1-4 steps.
* It outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods by approximately 3 dB.
* The result can be controlled using simple text prompts.
