Confirmed sources report that all 16 Pakistan Frontier Corps personnel travelling in the vehicle were killed in an ambush near Ziarat, Balochistan.

Sources said the bodies were so badly burned that identification has become difficult. DNA testing may be needed to confirm their identities.
