Security forces received a tip-off from an informant regarding a Naxal cache in the Bhopalpatnam forest. Following this, the forces launched a search operation. A joint team comprising district police and security forces proceeded to the Neelmadgu forest area. During an intensive search, the personnel achieved a breakthrough; they discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition abandoned and hidden inside the hollow of a felled tree near the riverbank.
