Subedar Dhakpa Tenzin, a brave soldier from the elite Special Frontier Force (SFF) and a resident of Selpokhari in Lava, Kalimpong district, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on August 29, 2026. He was serving in the treacherous Leo Pargial (Peak 6791) region of Himachal Pradesh, located close to the Tibet border, when the incident occurred.
