U.S. technology firm Vernius Systems has introduced the Archimedes 1A an 80 mm, 24 GHz fixed-beam active radar seeker intended for FPV-style UAV interceptors. The company says it can detect Shahed-class targets at more than 1 km, with a 25° × 14° field of view, and operate in darkness and poor weather.
