💢 Iran is loosening foreign-currency controls and increasingly turning to crypto to keep trade moving under sanctions and wartime pressure, the Financial Times reports.
The Central Bank has given exporters more freedom over overseas earnings, including repatriating funds through informal channels and crypto platforms. Businesses can also use export revenues more directly to finance imports, with Tether and Bitcoin increasingly used for cross-border settlement.
