I cooked a ጎመን ጥብስ on my own today😄 Surprisingly, No! its not actually a surprise but it has been more than ten years since I cooked something by myself. In fact, I haven't been around a kitchen since I went to medical school 8 years back till today. Not just literally not being around but like for a formal cook. እና ዛሬ things left me with out options. Both my mother and sister have gone somewhere since last Saturday. And yeah ofc there was no food at home when I came back home for lunch. Well, I could get it from some restaurants but that didn't feel right. I felt like this is a golden opportunity to teach myself some survival skills. I needed to put myself under pressure 😂. ጊዜው ደግሞ ከፍቷል። The other gender isn't reliable anymore nowadays. Some of them have started somethings tho😂🤣. And I don't know if the one I marry can cook or not so I always wanted to have that skill no matter what 😂. It is for mutual benefit actually 😁. For your surprise እስካሁን ከቤተሰብ ጋር ነው የምኖረው, in a separate room ofc. I know its not a surprise for some of you. Because it could be too early to start an independent life, or maybe too late, depends on the conditions you are in. እና እንደመጣሁ I changed my office outfit and then went to the kitchen to figure out what I could cook. ኩሽና ውስጥ ምን አገኘው? ቅዳሜ ዕለት የተጋገረ ቆንጆ ድፎ ዳቦ። I also found a ጥቅል ቆመን and carrots ምናምን። ከዚያ a ጥቅል ጎመን ጥብስ came to my mind, my fav food apparently. ከዚያ stove ሎከስኩ። ከተፍኩ። ድስት አጣጠብኩ ምናምን። ከዚያ ሰራሁልችሁ😎🤓። However, አይጣፍጥም።😭😂 The ingredients I used was right. But for some reason ምንም አልጣፍጥ አለኝ። Well, I had no other option than eating it all myself. ከዚያ በላሁ ጥርቅም አድረጌ። If someone else had cooked that way I wouldn't have eaten it. Or I would eat some portion of it and say በቃኝ ጠገብኩ😂 and blame it on the person. This time its me so I had to take all the ሃላፊነት. እና ምን ልላችሁ ነው? ወንዶች start learning cooking skills!
