I went back inside Palm Bay City Hall demanding answers about transparency, public records and accountability.
After my previous encounter with the City Manager’s Office, the office windows have now been frosted—further limiting the public’s ability to see inside.
In this video, I meet with the legislative department to ask a simple question: What remedy does an ordinary citizen have when elected officials or government employees fail to comply with Florida’s public-records requirements?
I also visit Human Resources and submit a public-records request seeking information that could confirm or refute an anonymous allegation involving a Palm Bay Police sergeant who allegedly struck another officer before being allowed to retire.
Then I encounter two Palm Bay officers previously or potentially connected to Thin Blue Lie Audits investigations—including Officer Neff, whose traffic stop, detention and arrest will be the subject of an upcoming video.
This isn't about attacking government. It's about demanding that government remain transparent and accountable to the people it serves.
