Elon Musk’s Starlink has moved closer to launching satellite internet services in India after the Digital Communications Commission approved most of TRAI’s recommendations on satellite spectrum allocation.

However, Starlink still needs spectrum allocation and a second-stage security clearance before commercial operations can begin.

Eutelsat OneWeb and Reliance Jio are also set to benefit from the decision.
