๐จ 52 SINGAPOREANS DETAINED IN CHINA OVER ALLEGED PYRAMID SCHEME
Chinese authorities have arrested and detained 52 Singaporean citizens in Guangxi during a crackdown on suspected pyramid-scheme activities and related offences.
Singapore says this is believed to be the largest number of its citizens detained overseas at one time. Its diplomats have visited all detainees three times and are providing consular assistance as investigations continue.
