Aditya Birla Group has launched 'Ultravolt,' a new wires and cables business backed by a โน1,800 crore investment.
Housed under UltraTech Cement, the venture debuts as Indiaโs second-largest manufacturer by capacity.
The group aims to turn it into a top-two national brand within five years.
Ultravolt is rolling out across over 1,00,000 retail stores nationwide.
It will also anchor its distribution in 5,000 UltraTech Building Solutions outlets.
