DIME International Mechanical Engineering W.L.L. is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Vehicle Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Equipment Department.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop industrial vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, trailers and mobile equipment
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models
• Design chassis, frames, brackets, supports and mechanical assemblies
• Perform mechanical and structural design calculations
• Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings and technical documentation
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, maintenance and procurement teams
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing and commissioning
• Modify and improve existing vehicle/equipment designs
🎓 Requirements
✅ Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
✅ 5–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical, vehicle or equipment design
✅ AutoCAD – Mandatory
✅ SolidWorks / Inventor / CATIA or similar 3D CAD experience preferred
✅ Knowledge of vehicle chassis, mechanical systems and fabrication
✅ Experience with industrial vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment or special-purpose vehicles is an advantage
✅ Fabrication workshop / heavy engineering experience preferred
✅ GCC/Qatar experience is an added advantage
✅ Immediate joiners preferred
