The crazy and borderline supernatural thing with doomer beliefs is that guys believe them so passionately they become self fulfilling prophecies.
Their eyes only perceive the confirmation bias. They unconsciously gravitate to situations where that belief is most likely to be reflected.
It is actually insane. It is like an artificial reality headset.
Like if a guy is neurotically obsessed and hung up on the whole height and money thing he will become blind to anyone that likes him, it is as if they do not even exist, he cannot even see them. Can only perceive what confirms the current belief system.
Even if he sparks some interest he will unconsciously behave in a way that sabotages it to confirm the belief and make it real.
Like how people project old baggage onto new people they meet to recreate the same past outcomes to then attribute it to yet another confirmation in their belief system.
“Men are trash”
“Women are trash”
Etc
This is why you cannot take any of this doomer trash seriously. People conflate their personal reality for the reality.
Fun person: wow people are so nice.
Grouchy person: wow people are so mean.
Which is true? Both and neither. Depends on the person, the context.
