Stellar holds roughly $490 million in tokenized non-US sovereign debt, more than any other blockchain.
Data from RWA.xyz as of August 20 shows the network has led this category since February. Stellar trades at $0.1922, up 4.4 percent in the last 24 hours.
Tokenized debt on Stellar consists of sovereign bonds issued outside the United States and denominated in currencies other than the dollar. The process converts these instruments into digital tokens that settle on the blockchain.
Issuers gain access to a settlement rail that operates continuously and reaches counterparties who do not use dollars as their primary currency. Holders can transfer positions without traditional intermediaries.
Ethereum continues to lead in tokenized US Treasuries and in the overall value of real-world assets locked across chains. That broader lead remains intact.
It is not yet clear whether the non-US sovereign segment will grow large enough to shift total market share or remain a narrower niche.
