Bitcoin’s current rally is nearing a pivotal on-chain hurdle.
Glassnode has pinpointed a concentrated band of long-term holder supply between $83,000 and $86,000—a key obstacle ahead.
There's now more unrealized profit in the market than during previous visits to this price range, increasing selling pressure potential.
Back in May near $78K, about 65% of Bitcoin’s supply was in profit.
By late August, that climbed to 68%.
That doesn’t mean holders will dump—but it does suggest any lasting breakout will need to absorb significantly more profitable supply before sustaining higher levels.
