Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the former cryptocurrency prodigy and founder of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, applied for a pardon from the Trump administration in early June in an attempt to avoid a 25-year prison sentence. In response, the US Senate unanimously passed a resolution on Wednesday (15th) strongly opposing the pardon of SBF.
