In this particular benefit, Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) was asked the following:
"I have a daughter who is 16 and we have had a marriage proposal for her from a Salafi brother. I know my daughter can see and meet this individual according to the Sunnah with her walee (guardian) present. My question is, what part does the mother play in such a meeting, and is she also present?"
