Let’s be honest: BTS to a large extent runs on Jungkook.
He’s the most streamed, the most recognizable, and arguably the strongest all-around performer: vocals, dance, stamina. He can sing live while pulling off high-intensity choreography or lifting weights.
And that is exactly why certain parts of the fandom and possibly the management fear his solo rise.
If he breaks out on his own, the BTS project as we know it may not survive.
He’s outgrown the “golden maknae” label. And that makes him the most inconvenient person in the room.

🔹 The "OT7" Illusion and Fandom Manipulation
A large part of the so-called “OT7” fanbase clearly has individual biases and believe it or not, some major fan accounts may actually be operated or influenced by HYBE stuff. There’s proof of that.
These accounts shape the narrative: who to praise, who to ignore, who to shame for being “too selfish.”
And every time Jungkook steps forward as an artist, they try to drag him back into the role of “the youngest,” “the group’s baby.”
