The Hangul (Cervus hanglu hanglu) is critically endangered, and its surviving population is almost entirely concentrated in a small region of the Kashmir Valley: ✍️ Dachigam National Park: Holds the main, viable population (over 90% of all surviving individuals). ✍️ Tral Wildlife Sanctuary: Acts as a key sanctuary and secondary home adjacent to Dachigam. ✍️Nearby Corridors: Small, isolated groups occasionally move through Overa-Aru, Rajparian Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Sind Valley.
