The Ingress team has announced details about a new feature that is imminent: Agent Protips!
This feature is aimed at new Agents as well as returning Agents that might not have touched the Scanner in a while! Depending on your actions in the game, Devra (for RES Agents) or Hank (for ENL Agents) will explain various mechanisms that might not be immediately obvious to new Agents, such as Portal Burnout, how Ultra Strikes work and so on.
These tips will only be shown once, can be skipped on a case by case basis or turned off altogether in the settings. From the sounds of things these tips will be enabled by default and might also show up for veteran Agents under L8, potentially during Recursion, so if you are already an expert you can simply turn them off.
