False teacher John Wesley, Methodism's founder, was against Baptists & believed in baptismal regeneration according to an entry on April 3, 1751 ((The Works of the Rev. John Wesley: in ten volumes [Complied in the 1800s from John Wesley's 1700s diaries)
So John Wesley disputed with Baptists on Acts 22:16 (for context, Acts 22:16 is very similar to Acts 9:18, and Paul believed on Jesus in Acts 9:6 before he was baptized [see Acts 9:18 & Acts 22:16])
According to John Wesley's words on arguing with Baptists over baptism, he believed in baptismal salvation heresy
He lied about Baptists and called Baptists' beliefs as "strange doctrines" (even though historically, real Baptists are biblical Christians who believe what the pure Bible says and actually believe the biblical gospel for salvation)
