After a hung jury last week in Plymouth Superior Court, defense attorney Kevin Reddington asked President Trump on Good Morning America to pardon Lindsay Clancy.
She is charged with k*lling her three children in Duxbury in 2023: Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months.
The jury deadlocked after about 38 hours.
Trump had already called it a horrible tragedy and said there would be a price, jail or a mental institution.
Legal coverage notes a president can pardon federal crimes, not a Massachusetts state case.
A state pardon would go through Gov. Maura Healey.
Prosecutors have not said if they will retry her.
A hearing is set for Sept. 29.
